Thought is energy vibrating within that extends outward into the vastness of space. We can experience this simply with a string and a button. Tie a small button on a string and hold the button a few inches from your eyes, then with your mind, tell the button to make a circle. Watch as your mind moves the button. Once you get the button moving, tell it to stop with your thought, then tell the button to circle the other direction with your thought. This is a simple, yet powerful example of your thought. Your thought travels beyond your physical body. This is also demonstrated when groups of people join together to meditate on a single purpose. The group does not need to be in the same room, building, town, or country. The group meditation (concentrated thought) projects outward. Back in 1978, the “Maharishi Effect” demonstrated how 7,000 individuals meditating on positive transformation literally transformed the energy of the city, reducing crime rates, violence, and casualties by an average of 16% during the times of their meditation.
