Kapha Balancing Diet:

  • Pungent, Bitter, or Astringent Tastes

  • Warm Foods

  • Heating Spices: Cinnamon, Cumin, Ginger (NO SALT)

  • Honey

  • Reduce Dairy

  • Apples, Pears, Pomegranates, Cranberries, Apricots

  • Reduce heavy fruits like Bananas, Avocados, Pineapples, Oranges, Peaches, Coconuts, Melons, Dates, Figs

  • All Veggies, but reduce sweet & juicy vegetables like Sweet Potatoes, Tomatoes, and Zucchini

Kapha Balancing Exercise:
Get regular exercise – preferably every day. This is the best way to avoid stagnation and the accumulation of toxins in the body.
Focus on building endurance.

Yoga practice should be faster paced with continuous movement, eyes focussed upward.
